(AsiaGameHub) – Authorities have served Capital Bra with a penalty for the suspected promotion of unlawful gambling activities.
Germany.- The **GGL**, Germany’s federal gambling authority, stated that police assisted in issuing a fine to a famous rapper for the alleged promotion of unlicensed gambling. **Capital Bra** was reportedly served with the penalty during a live performance.
The artist, born **Vladislav Balovatsky** in Siberia and raised in Dnipro, Ukraine, moved to Berlin with his mother in the early 2000s. He has risen to become one of Germany’s most prominent musical figures, boasting 22 number-one tracks.
Investigators from the GGL discovered that Capital Bra had been advertising unauthorized gambling platforms on social media. The regulator stated that he frequently **broadcasted himself playing** on these sites and shared affiliate links, which violates the German **Interstate Treaty on Gambling** (GlüStV 2021).
Legal proceedings were launched in **October 2025**, but after the rapper missed a hearing and overlooked a financial warning, the GGL increased its enforcement measures, eventually levying a **€250,000 fine**. The GGL and the West Hesse police department officially delivered the notice during a concert in Wiesbaden over the weekend.
The GGL noted in its statement that it intends to “employ all **legally available avenues** and work alongside relevant police forces to ensure compliance with the law. Experience demonstrates that these enforcement actions are successful.”
Board member **Ronald Benter** further commented: “We are not deterred by **famous personalities**. Anyone promoting illegal gambling should anticipate firm regulatory action.”
